As part of the joint efforts to advance the polytechnic education system and standardize academic regulations, Sulaimani Polytechnic University (SPU) hosted representatives from Erbil Polytechnic University, Duhok Polytechnic University, Garmian Polytechnic University, and Akre University for Applied Sciences.
The meeting was chaired by Prof. Dr. Hoshyar Abdullah Aziz, President of Sulaimani Polytechnic University, and attended by Vice Presidents for Student Affairs, the Director of the Central Admissions Center, Directors of General Registration, and the Committee for Redrafting Polytechnic Education System Guidelines.
During the session, discussions focused on updating and redrafting the guidelines for the polytechnic education system. The objectives included unifying implementation mechanisms, enhancing the quality of the admission process, and ensuring consistency across all polytechnic universities within the Kurdistan Region.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the participants emphasized the importance of continued cooperation and coordination among polytechnic universities. This ensures that the new regulations are implemented in a unified manner that aligns with both scientific and administrative requirements.
