SPU Journal “KJAR” Indexed in Scopus with CiteScore 1.3 and Q3 Classification
Sulaimani Polytechnic University is pleased to announce that the university’s journal “Kurdistan Journal of Applied Research” following officially indexed in Scopus in August 2025. As one of the world’s largest and most reputable academic databases, Scopus is widely trusted by researchers and higher education institutions around the globe.
Following its inclusion in Scopus, the journal received its first official ranking for 2025, achieving a CiteScore of 1.3 and being classified in Quartile 3 (Q3). This places the journal within the 50%–75% range among internationally recognized journals, demonstrating the quality and scientific value of the research published by the journal according to international academic standards.
This achievement reflects the university’s continuous commitment to supporting scientific research and academic excellence. It has been accomplished through the ongoing support of the university presidency, together with the dedicated efforts of the Editor-in-Chief, editorial board members, journal staff, and the distinguished researchers who contributed their valuable research to the journal.
