Sulaimani Polytechnic University Officially Registered on ClinicalTrials.gov
Sulaimani Polytechnic University (SPU) is pleased to announce that the university has officially established an administrative account on the international platform ClinicalTrials.gov. Effective immediately, faculty members and researchers are invited to register their research proposals on this global database.
It is noteworthy that ClinicalTrials.gov is one of the most prominent and internationally recognized platforms endorsed by the World Health Organization for the registration of medical and clinical research protocols. The platform is managed by the U.S. National Library of Medicine.
Currently, many high-impact journals require an official registration number from this platform as a mandatory prerequisite for the publication of medical and clinical research studies, including:
1. Interventional Clinical Studies
2. Observational Studies
The establishment of this institutional administrative account marks a significant milestone in facilitating the registration process for these types of studies. Faculty members and researchers may now contact the University’s Directorate of IT and Statistics to verify and finalize the registration of their research projects.
This initiative is part of the university’s ongoing efforts to enhance the standards of scientific research and expand opportunities for international academic collaboration.
