SPU Student’s Research Accepted for the 26th Forum for Innovative Students

Within the framework of Sulaimani Polytechnic University’s membership in the Arab Council for Student Training and Innovation (ACSTI), the research of university student Mohammed Star Khidhir from the College of Health and Medical Technology, titled “Solid Medical Waste Management in Private Hospitals in Sulaimaniyah Governorate/Iraq,” and supervised by Dr. Aso Hamasaleh, has been selected for participation in the 26th Forum for Innovative Students, held under the theme: “Advancement and Challenges Facing Educational Institutions in Light of Technological Developments.”

The forum will take place from November 6–11, 2025, at Nizwa University in the Sultanate of Oman, where the student will have the opportunity to compete for one of the top awards.

Sulaimani Polytechnic University congratulates the student and his supervisor, wishing them continued success and further achievements.

It is worth mentioning that, through its membership in the Arab Council for Student Training and Innovation, Sulaimani Polytechnic University not only implements plans and exchange opportunities for students to undertake summer training at universities in Arab countries, but also annually provides opportunities for students’ and supervisors’ research to participate in the Council’s conferences and forums after receiving approval from the conference’s scientific committee.
