Empowering Young Girls: Understanding Breast Health and Cancer Awareness

Activity Report

On the occasion of World Cancer Day, the Departments of Nursing Science and Disease Analysis at Halabja Technical Institute conducted two awareness activities focused on breast cancer.

Activity 1: Workshops were held for students of both departments, providing training on breast cancer recognition and self-assessment techniques.

Activity 2: A student outreach program was conducted at Halabja Girls High School. Twenty students from the two departments delivered educational sessions to approximately 15 classes, focusing on breast self-examination and awareness of breast cancer symptoms.
