The College of Health and Medical Technology in Sulaimani — The Department of Nursing Receives a Scientific Delegation
On Thursday, October 16, 2025, the Department of Nursing at the Technical College of Health and Medicine, Sulaimani Polytechnic University, received a scientific delegation consisting of Dr. Sayed Rayhana Yousfi, Professor of Gynecology at Kurdistan Medical University (Sana’a), accompanied by Ms. Hosseini (Secretary), Mr. Yasin Ahmad, and Mr. Mohsen Omar Hussein, Directors of Damawan Laboratory and Clinic in Sulaimani.
During the visit, Professor Rayhana Yousfi shared her expertise in the treatment and prevention of gynecological cancers and emphasized the importance of early screening. She also discussed the latest techniques in laboratory testing and surgical methods. Professor Yousfi expressed her gratitude to the university for its warm welcome and encouraged the institution to take a leading role in raising public awareness—particularly in guiding women on the importance of early cancer screening.
