Students of Sulaimani Polytechnic University will be Registered by the Biometric Committee

Under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Hoshyar Abdullah Aziz, President of Sulaimani Polytechnic University, a dedicated biometric registration center has been established for first-year students at the campus of the Technical Colleges of Sulaimani Polytechnic University (SPU). A special committee is responsible for registering students on the system daily.

Asst. Prof. Dr. Bakhtiar Obaid Sharif, Vice President for Student Affairs, announced:

“Effective from April 22, 2025, the biometrics unit, operating under the management of the institutional departments, will begin registering students’ names in the system at the campus of the Technical Colleges of Sulaimani Polytechnic University. This initiative is designed to streamline administrative processes for students in the future.”

It was also clarified that the registration process will continue until all students have successfully completed their registration. Currently, more than 500 students have been registered in the biometric system, with registration taking place daily from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
