University and College Chess Tournament Concludes with Two Students from Sulaimani Polytechnic University Winning Second and Third Places

On February 27, 2025, the chess championship for universities and colleges concluded, with 12 universities and colleges from the Sulaymaniyah Governorate participating. The event was organized by the Sulaimani Sports Directorate at the International Qaiwan University. The tournament followed the Swiss system with seven rounds and featured 25 male and female students. Among the participants, two students from Sulaimani Polytechnic University earned impressive results: Huda Dana secured second place in the female category, and Chinar Nasiyar took third place in the male category.
