Sulaimani Polytechnic University has been Ranked by Times Higher Education for the First Time

Among the progress achieved by Sulaimani Polytechnic University in the past two years, it has been ranked for the first time in 2024 by Times Higher Education.

It is worth mentioning that our university

• Ranked 121-140 among Arab universities
• Ranked 16th in Iraq
• Ranked 4th in the Kurdistan Region
• Ranked second among Iraqi technical universities
• Ranked 1st among polytechnic universities in the Kurdistan Region

This ranking is done on several different criteria for universities consisting of:

1. Research quality
2. International outlook
3. Research environment
4. Teaching
5. Society

What is noteworthy is that despite the participation of universities and submission of data for this ranking, only those universities that meet the criteria required for this ranking will be ranked.
