A Workshop on Coordination Between Universities was Held at Bakrajo Technical Institute

In the continuation of the series of scientific activities of Bakrajo Technical Institute and under the direct supervision of Sulaimani Polytechnic University, a workshop (Internationalization and university cooperation) was held. At the beginning of the workshop, Mr. Goran Salam Tofiq welcomed all the participants and then Asst. Prof. Dr. Kawa Raza, Dean of the Institute delivered a speech on the importance of conducting such workshops in improving the ability of teachers and students and opening Gateway to communication and coordination between universities and institutes inside and outside the country. In the first part of the workshop, Asst. Prof. Dr. Yadgar Ali Mahmoud, a lecturer at Garmian University, presented a paper on (Internationalization and accreditation in higher education) in which he discussed the concept and definition of internationalization of universities and colleges, as well as strategy for internationalization of universities and colleges in the Kurdistan Region. In the second part of the workshop, Asst. Prof. Dr. Asad Mohammed Mahmoud, a lecturer at Garmian University, presented an article on (How to apply for international training (NUFFIC) courses) for the courses that are opened annually abroad for academics and teachers to develop their skills and further serve the educational process in universities and colleges. Finally, the workshop was enriched with discussions, questions, and comments of the participants. Asst. Prof. Dr. Kawa Raza, Dean of the Institute, presented awards to the presenters of the workshop.
