This department was established in 1989-1990 to train professional center staff experts in the field of production, the ways of manufacturing equipment and materials of industrial products to assist mechanical engineers in the processes of quantity and quality control and development and implementation of products. In the academic year (2020-2021), the department changed its specialty from manufacturing to CAD-CAM in order to focus on design and production with CNC equipment field.
