Most recently, Dr. Muhammad Taha Baban, lecturer at the Dental Nursing department at Sulaimani
\nTechnical Institute\/SPU, participated in the EU-funded Erasmus+ ICM exchange program between the
\nSulaimani Polytechnic University (SPU) and Masaryk University (MU) in the Czech Republic. The program
\nfund was jointly applied for and obtained by Ms. Violeta Osouchova from MU and Digital Cultural
\nHeritage Research Center director, Dr. Rozhen Kamal Mohammed-Amin.
\nDuring his academic visit, which lasted for one week, Dr. Muhammad attended several seminars and
\nactivities in the Physiology department at MU's general medicine faculty. He also participated in a
\ntraining course titled "Image analysis and application of digital holographic and time-lapse microscopy in
\nhead and neck cancer."
\nSince 2018, DCH group and (now) center at SPU has established an academic collaboration with MU
\nthrough Erasmus+ICM program. Every year, through an open call, the Erasmus+ exchange opportunities
\nare announced to all SPU faculty members, researchers, and staff. Selections are done in a competitive
\nmanner based on criteria set by the host university in Czech Republic.<\/p>\n
