After registering,<br \/>\nyou will receive a confirmation email containing information about how to join the meeting. Please<br \/>\nmake sure to enter the correct English spelling of your name when registering.<br \/>\n\u2022 Only Zoom attendees (with prior registration) who attend at least half of the workshop can obtain<br \/>\na certificate of attendance, FB live viewers cannot get a certificate, even if they are registered.<br \/>\n\u2022 The workshop will be video recorded.<br \/>\n* Nahrein Network, based at the University College London (UCL), is a collaborative international<br \/>\nproject between UCL, University of Oxford, Sulaimani Polytechnic University, Cultural Heritage<br \/>\nOrganization, the University of Al-Qadisiyah. Nahrein Network was previously funded by an AHRC<br \/>\nGCRF from 2017 to 2021. But now are continuing their mission until 2031, funded by a generous<br \/>\nphilanthropic gift.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">About the speaker:<br \/>\nDr Lyn Wilson is a heritage scientist with over 20 years\u2019 experience in digital documentation<br \/>\npractice and conservation\/archaeological science. She has a BSc in Archaeology, MA and PhD in<br \/>\nArchaeological Science. As Head of Programme for Technical Research and Science at Historic<br \/>\nEnvironment Scotland, the lead public body established to investigate, care for and promote<br \/>\nScotland&amp;#39;s historic environment, Lyn has operational oversight of digital documentation, digital<br \/>\ninnovation, conservation science, technical research and climate change activities.<br \/>\nLyn is a Specialist Assessor on digital documentation to the British Council\u2019s Cultural Protection<br \/>\nFund, an Expert Member of CIPA and a Board Member of the ICOMOS-UK Scientific Committee on<br \/>\nDigital Heritage Technologies. Her research interests focus on the intersection of heritage science<br \/>\nand digital documentation in the historic environment, and the application of emerging<br \/>\ntechnologies for practical conservation applications. She is a passionate advocate for research<br \/>\nintegrating science and technology within cultural heritage practice.
