The Role of Universities in Addressing Urban Inequities\u201d took place"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On April 14th, 2021, the 4th international training workshop of the joint Digital cultural heritage (DCH)-the Nahrein Network \u201cCreative Cities\u201d Training Program under the title \u201cCan Creative Cities be Just as Well? The Role of Universities in Addressing Urban Inequities &#8221; was held.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Over 200 participants from 43 different universities and government and non-government associations and organizations from a total of 9 countries (Iraq, Iran, Canada, UK, USA, Israel, Libya, Ethiopia, Sweden) attended the workshop, and locally participants attended from (Sulaymaniyah \u2013 Erbil \u2013 Kirkuk \u2013 Halabja \u2013 Koya- Baghdad \u2013 Musl \u2013 kalar- and Duhok).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The two-and-a-half-hour-long workshop was presented by Dr. Samia Rab Kirchner, Associate Professor at the Morgan State University in Maryland, US.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Nahrein Network is a collaborative international project between University College London (UCL), University of Oxford, Sulaimani Polytechnic University, and the University of Al-Qadisiyah.
