{"id":5140,"date":"2021-03-19T11:24:50","date_gmt":"2021-03-19T08:24:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/spu.edu.iq\/en\/?p=5140"},"modified":"2024-05-14T12:37:44","modified_gmt":"2024-05-14T09:37:44","slug":"an-international-workshop-on-smart-cities-took-place","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/spu.edu.iq\/en\/an-international-workshop-on-smart-cities-took-place\/","title":{"rendered":"An international workshop on \u201cSmart cities\u201d took place"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On March 17th, 2021, the third international training workshop of the joint Digital cultural heritage (DCH)-the Nahrein Network \u201cCreative Cities\u201d Training Program under the title \u201cSmart cities&#8221; was held.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Over 197 participants from 45 different universities and government and non-government associations and organizations from a total of 7 countries (Iraq, Iran, Turkey, UK, Netherlands, Egypt, Tunis) attended the workshop, and locally participants attended from (Sulaymaniyah \u2013 Erbil \u2013 Kirkuk \u2013 Halabja \u2013 Koya- Baghdad \u2013 Musl -and Babil).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The 2 hour and a half workshop was presented by Dr. Rozhen Kamal Mohammed-Amin, Director of Digital Cultural Heritage Research Center and Lecturer at the City Planning Department at Sulaymaniyah Polytechnic University.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Nahrein Network is a collaborative international project between University College London (UCL), University of Oxford, Sulaimani Polytechnic University, and the University of Al-Qadisiyah.
