Sulaimani Polytechnic University Secures Nearly 50 Summer Internship Opportunities at Prestigious Arab Universities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Representing Professor Dr. Hoshyar Abdullah Aziz, President of Sulaimani Polytechnic University (SPU), Assistant Professor Dr. Bakhtiar Obeid Sharif, Vice President for Student Affairs, and Assistant Professor Dr. Rebaz Jalil Abdullah participated in the 31st Arab Forum for the Exchange of Student Training Opportunities. The forum, held from June 28 to 30, 2026, was organized by the Arab Council for Student Training and Innovation and hosted by Misr University for Science and Technology (MUST) in the Arab Republic of Egypt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The forum was conducted under the patronage of Professor Dr. Amr Ezzat Salama, Secretary-General of the Association of Arab Universities, and attended by Professor Dr. Hala Salem Al-Manoufi, President of Misr University for Science and Technology, and Professor Dr. Fawaz Ahmed Al-Zaghoul, Director of the Arab Council for Student Training and Innovation. The event also saw participation by representatives from 70 universities and other higher education institutions across 12 countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The primary objective of the forum was to enhance student exchange programs, broaden academic cooperation, and provide training opportunities to develop student skill sets. The agenda included various technical sessions and meetings between participating universities, resulting in the signing of several cooperation agreements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Regarding the university’s achievements at the event, Assistant Professor Dr. Bakhtiar Obeid Sharif stated: “Through our participation in this forum, we successfully secured approximately 50 summer internship opportunities for Sulaimani Polytechnic University students at several high-ranking Arab universities. This is a significant milestone in enhancing the academic experience of our students and preparing them for the global labor market.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is noteworthy that the Arab Council for Student Training and Innovation, through this forum, reaffirmed the vital importance of cooperation among Arab universities. The initiative aims to support student innovation, foster academic excellence, and expand exchange opportunities to strengthen partnerships between higher education institutions and open new professional horizons for students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
