On Wednesday, February 12, 2020, with the presence of assistant professor Dr. Alan Faraidun Ali -the president of the Sulaimani Polytechnic University- Dr. Raza Hasan -the president of the University of Sulaimani- Dr. Sabah Nasradin – director of Sulaimani Health Center- several professors, doctors, and students, cooperatively, Sulaimani Polytechnic University, University of Sulaimani, Sulaimaniyah General Health Directorate, and Sulaimani Veterinary Directorate with the representative of\u00a0 WHO run a symposium about coronavirus at Raparin Hall at the University of Sulaimani.<\/p>\n
Two main panels were presented which all took about two hours. In the first panel, Dr. Salar Ibrahim -a lecturer from SPU- assistant professor Dr. Othman Jamal -a lecturer from Veterinary College- assistant professor Dr. Khanda Abdul Latif -a lecturer at Pharmacy Department\/the University of Sulaimani- Professor Dr. Zana Hamid -Sulaimani Veterinary Directorate- they all mentioned the history of coronavirus outbreak and the attempts to find an effective medication for it.<\/p>\n
The second panel was run by Dr. Muhamad Babakir, the dean of Health Technical College\/SPU, Dr. Shaho Abdulrahman, a lecturer from Pharmacy Department\/UoS, Dr. Rizgar Ali, director of Sulimanya Health Awareness, and Dr. Najmadin Hasan, representative of WHO organization. They all made a discussion about the outcomes of coronavirus outbreaks, the required instructions, and steps of self-protection.<\/p>\n
