Within the framework of Sulaimani Polytechnic University\u2019s membership in the Arab Council for Student Training and Innovation (ACSTI), Dr. Aso Hama Saeed Hama Salih, a lecturer in the Department of Nursing at the College of Health and Medical Technology, along with his student Mohammed Star Khidhir, participated on November 2, 2025, with a scientific research paper titled \u201cManagement and Disposal of Solid Medical Waste in Private Hospitals in Sulaimani City\u201d in the 26th Forum for Innovative Students, held under the theme \u201cAdvancement and Challenges Facing Educational Institutions in Light of Technological Developments.\u201d
\nIt is worth noting that this research from Sulaimani Polytechnic University was the only one selected from all public and private universities in the cities of Sulaimani and Halabja, as well as the Raparin and Garmian administrations. Furthermore, it was one of 60 papers chosen out of 200 submitted by universities across Arab countries.<\/p>\n
