The Career Development Center at Sulaimani Polytechnic University, in partnership with the Iraq STEP organization, is offering the program \u201cCritical Thinking in the Age of Artificial Intelligence.\u201d<\/p>\n
Program Objectives:<\/p>\n
1. Strengthen the analytical skills of students and young professionals.<\/p>\n
2. Challenge existing assumptions.<\/p>\n
3. Enable participants to make informed decisions in today\u2019s fast-paced environment.<\/p>\n
4. Support learners in adapting to evolving technologies and the changing job market.<\/p>\n
By the end of the program, participants will be able to:<\/p>\n
\u2022 Use AI tools more effectively and understand their responsibilities regarding information use and ethics.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Critically evaluate information before relying on automated systems.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Develop problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills through structured, logical thinking.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Recognize misinformation and identify cognitive biases in both digital and professional environments.<\/p>\n
The course will run for five (5) days, and participants will receive a certificate of participation upon completion.<\/p>\n
Participation Requirements:<\/p>\n
1. Applicants must be current students or graduates of Sulaimani Polytechnic University.<\/p>\n
2. Applicants must commit to attending all course sessions.<\/p>\n
3. Final selection will be based on an interview.<\/p>\n
