These trainings focused on essential competencies that help youth navigate the job market and transition successfully into work.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Organized by: Career Development Center (CDC), Sulaimani Polytechnic University<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Partners: STEP Iraq | Financial Support: STEP-UK<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Course Focus<\/h4>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Life and workplace skills: communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and time management<\/li>\n<li>Job readiness: CV and cover letter writing, interview techniques, and job search strategies<\/li>\n<li>Career orientation: understanding labor market needs and professional conduct<\/li>\n<li>Foundational soft skills to complement technical knowledge<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Certificate Awarding Ceremony<\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On 9\/10\/2024, certificates of participation were awarded to the successful participants of this cohort.<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Impact<\/h4>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Dozens of young participants enhanced their life and employability skills<\/li>\n<li>Stronger links between education and the labor market<\/li>\n<li>Continued collaboration between SPU\u2019s CDC and civil society partners to scale opportunities for youth<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Appreciation<\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">CDC extends sincere thanks to STEP Iraq and STEP-UK for their partnership and financial support, the trainers for their dedication, and the participants for their active engagement.
