On 2025-03-08 According to the 2025 SciMago Institution Rankings, Sulaimani Polytechnic
\nUniversity has achieved a new milestone in research performance, innovation, and social impact.
\nWithin the framework of the rankings for academic institutions, the university has attained
\nsignificant progress among all public universities in Iraq that provided data to SciMago. The
\nuniversity is ranked 15 th in Iraq and 3 rd among public universities in the Kurdistan Region.
\nThe SciMago rankings are based on several metrics, which include:
\n1. Research Performance
\n2. Innovation
\n3. Social Impact (as reflected on the institution\u2019s website).
\nOn this occasion, the Presidency of Sulaimani Polytechnic University congratulates the academic
