Despite advances in treatment, there is still no permanent cure for the disease, making ongoing research critical for improving the lives of those affected.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: black;\">The initiative, led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Solaf, head of Medical Laboratory department, was born out of a shared desire to raise awareness about thalassemia and support efforts in scientific research. &#8220;We wanted to help make a real difference in the lives of people living with thalassemia,&#8221;
