Sulaimani Polytechnic University in partnership with Kurdistan Association for Strategic Studies and \u00a0Research , the first Tigris Symposium was organized in the presidency of SPU on 14\/5\/2018, presidents of SPU, Raparin, Halabja, Charmo and Howler Polytechnic Universities, Head of\u00a0 Kurdistan Association for Strategic Studies in addition to \u00a0General Directors of Administration and finance in\u00a0 higher education and vice- presidents \u00a0\u00a0of the SPU, HPU and Relations managers and \u00a0Symposium organizers from\u00a0 universities\u00a0 and associations mentioned attended the Symposium.<\/p>\n

At the beginning of the Symposium .assist.prof Dr. Alan Faraidoon delivered his speech, he welcomed the attendees and said that they would talk about the Symposium and the topics they had reached, Tigris Project is one of the important projects of Higher Education and Scientific Research in Kurdistan and now they have reached the implementation of the advanced stages and together will examine the future needs and develop a plan for the future.<\/p>\n

On the importance of the Symposium, Mr. Bakhtiar Obaid Sharif, Director of Relations Department, said that the Tigris project is part of the Erasmus program and is funded by the European Union to make Kurdistan universities global. All participants presented their presentations on the activities and work they had done over the past six months and presented their strategies and future plans.<\/p>\n
