{"id":1460,"date":"2015-10-05T12:23:12","date_gmt":"2015-10-05T09:23:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/spu.edu.iq\/en\/?p=1460"},"modified":"2015-10-05T12:23:12","modified_gmt":"2015-10-05T09:23:12","slug":"unilead-2016-dies-university-leadership-and-management-training-programme","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/spu.edu.iq\/en\/unilead-2016-dies-university-leadership-and-management-training-programme\/","title":{"rendered":"UNILEAD 2016 DIES University Leadership and Management Training Programme"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>UNILEAD 2016<br \/>\nDIES University Leadership and Management Training Programme<br \/>\nThe German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and the Department of Continuing Education and Education Management at the Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg in Germany are jointly organising the DIES University Leadership and Management Training Programme UNILEAD in Oldenburg, enabling young management-level professionals at higher education institutions in developing countries to tackle successfully every-day challenges. In order to do so, the programme brings together the topics Project Management,<br \/>\nFinancing and Investment and Management of Human Resources with individual and practice-oriented change projects of each participant.<br \/>\nIn 2008, the University of Oldenburg developed the programme together with the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University (South Africa) and the DAAD. UNILEAD is part of the DIES programme (Dialogue on Innovative Higher Education Strategies), which has been jointly coordinated by the DAAD and HRK (German Rectors\u2019 Conference) since 2001.<\/p>\n<p>Application is open for DAAD\u2019s UNILEAD course for young leaders in middle and higher management of higher education institutions. You may find the details of the course in the attached documents.<\/p>\n<p>Please do ONLY APPLY if the following applies to you:<br \/>\n&#8211; aged between 30 and 40<br \/>\n&#8211; currently working in the higher education management at a higher education institution<br \/>\n&#8211; Master&#8217;s degree holders<br \/>\n&#8211; at least two years of working experience in a university managing position<br \/>\n&#8211; very good, active knowledge of English (both orally and in writing)<\/p>\n<p>If one of the above mentioned points do not apply to you, PLEASE REFRAIN FROM APPLYING! After this date an application will not be possible.<\/p>\n<p>Funding<\/p>\n<p>The costs for the UNILEAD programme will be mainly covered by funds of the DAAD provided by the German<br \/>\nFederal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).<br \/>\nDuring the presence phases the participants will be guests of the University of Oldenburg.
