The department of Medical Laboratory in Darbandikhan Technical Institute SPU is located in Darbandikhan city and offers 2 years studying for a technical diploma in medical laboratory techniques. The department is established in 2025 under the name of ML. Medical Laboratory integrates key elements of biology, chemistry, and medicine focuses on the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases using clinical laboratory analyses. Professionals in this field perform tests on blood and other body fluids, help maintain health and assist in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases. Medical lab technologists work behind the scenes, providing clinicians with basic test results needed for patient care. The Department of Medical Laboratory recognizes that, in today&#8217;s world, students need a wide range of skills and knowledge to become key members of the health care team. These professionals and students play a vital role in the detection, diagnosis and treatment of diseases. Our graduates are well prepared to work in hospitals, research institutions and other settings, working as problem solvers in a constantly evolving field.<\/p><p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p><p><strong>Mission:<\/strong><\/p><p>The main goals for this department are lay under the main objective of the medical technical institutes in which are preparing and applying the healthcare providers (hospitals, clinics and other medical centers) with skilled and professional cadres in such a way that fulfills the demands of the public and private sector.<\/p><p>The mission of the Department of medical laboratory is to prepare competent and ethically oriented graduate clinical laboratory professionals with the knowledge and skills to enter the profession and practice. The department is committed to preparing graduates for leadership roles in clinical laboratories and professional organizations and instilling an understanding of the need to maintain ongoing competence in a fast-paced and dynamic career. To achieve its mission, the department relies on dedicated and dedicated staff members.<\/p><p><br \/><br \/><strong>Vision:<\/strong><\/p><ol><li>We aim to provide sufficient academic technical education in the Medical Laboratory field.<\/li><li>We contribute to the body of knowledge in health science through basic and clinical research, and function as an expert resource within the University community regarding all issues related to medical laboratory techniques.<\/li><\/ol><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><strong>History of the department<\/strong><\/p><p>Department of medical laboratory was established in 2025-2026.<\/p><p><br \/><strong>\u00a0Department Objectives<\/strong><\/p><p>The objective of the department is to provide students with the knowledge and necessary skills to work as competent medical laboratory technicians. The department aims to equip students with a strong foundation in medical laboratory science, including laboratory testing techniques, interpretation of laboratory results, and proficiency in handling and analyzing different types of medical specimens. Students will also learn how to maintain laboratory equipment and manage laboratory information systems. Through a combination of classroom instruction and practical training, graduates of this program will be prepared to work in a variety of medical laboratory settings, including hospitals, clinics, and research laboratories. Ultimately, the goal of the department is to produce graduates who can contribute to the healthcare industry by performing accurate and reliable laboratory tests that aid in the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions<\/p><p><br \/><strong>Language and System of Study<\/strong><\/p><p>The language of study at our department in Arabic and some are taught in English The system of study in our department is seasonally. Our department tries to utilize the modern methods of teaching. We do this by using what is available to us from whiteboards to data shows and other tools of teaching.<\/p><p>These on top of making sure our students learn the science both theoretically and practically.<br \/><br \/><\/p><p><strong>The Period of Study<\/strong><strong>:<\/strong><\/p><p>Students at our department will obtain diploma of science in Medical laboratory after successfully studying the science of Medical laboratory for four semesters.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><strong>Method of Study:<\/strong><\/p><p>The method of study in the Department of Pathology is based on the Bologna Process. The requirements for obtaining credit are the importance of student participation and attendance in class, quizzes, reports, seminars, assignments, activities prepared by students through whiteboards and datasheets Practice Our students gain full expertise in this field.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><strong>What will the student learn?<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>The graduates of this department are among the
