These 17 interconnected goals address the global challenges we face, including those related to poverty, inequality, climate change, environmental degradation, peace, and justice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sulaimani Polytechnic University (SPU)\u00a0recognizes that higher education institutions play a crucial role in advancing the SDGs through education, research, innovation, and community engagement. As a leading technical education institution in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, SPU is committed to aligning its academic programs with the sustainable development agenda to create lasting positive impact locally, regionally, and globally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-92f9d0b7172692bef4465f9a16f9d01a\" style=\"color:#a80707\"><strong>SPU&#8217;s Commitment to Sustainable Development<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our university&#8217;s diverse portfolio of\u00a068 academic programs\u00a0across multiple colleges and technical institutes demonstrates a comprehensive alignment with various SDGs.
