\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 The Technical Institute of Chamchamal was established in 2000\/2001. Two years later, the (Computer Systems) Department was inaugurated. since the first day it received high school graduate students from the scientific department and the top industrial department (Computer Dep.). Applying to the course was direct. In order to keep abreast of the progress made in the field of computer and information technology through the development of curricula and the provision of specializations in this field, the department has been changed from the specialization of (computer systems) to the specialization (Information Technology). The duration of the study for the full-time program is subjected to the student\u2019s entry qualifications into two (2) years.<\/p>

To become a leader in preparing graduates in order to find solution to efficient problems, inventors and employers. making \u00a0skillful professionals to have the ability to receive any challenge in the information industry of the information technology or the organization that serves them.<\/p>

Mission<\/strong>:<\/span><\/h5>

The institute offers high-quality undergraduate programs, in order to prepare them to become leaders in their profession. Also enhance the students’ knowledge in the latest technologies by organizing and participating in technical programs.<\/p>

  1. Planning and using different technologies to solve and perform the work of the agency in which he works.<\/li>
  2. Using an expert in communication and information transfer.<\/li>
  3. Create a system for implementation and supervision of works.<\/li>
  4. Repair and reorganize the broken departments related to information technology<\/li><\/ol>
    Objectives of the department: <\/strong><\/span><\/h5>

    The Department of Information Technology seeks to be a leader in teaching, scientific research, and internships with partners to improve the future of scientific technology. They will be competent in:<\/p>

    1. Graduating professional cadres who are able to respond to the demands and needs of the labor market, carry theoretical and practical knowledge and have the basic skills to use computers in the Kurdistan Region, Iraq and Iraqi universities.<\/li>
    2. Using and practicing all aspects of programming, networking, IT project management, websites, operating systems and databases.<\/li>
    3. Use the latest tools, programs and new information in the field of information technology, the ability to work independently and solve complex problems.<\/li>
    4. Encourage and train academic and scientific cadres armed with practical skills and work independently and in groups<\/li>
    5. Preparing and training students to obtain international certificates in the fields of programming, database, web, networking and security such as Cisco, Oracle, servers, etc.<\/li>
    6. Provide basic knowledge to computer science graduates to conduct research and complete higher education, as well as provide the necessary skills to be able to continue individually or work in a team.<\/li><\/ol>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
