#000080;\"><strong>Overview:<\/strong><\/span><\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Anesthesia is one of the medical expertise\u2019s that are provided for patients by the special professional\u2019s staffs of the field in both governmental and private hospitals especially in surgery wards. <br \/>The nature of working in the field involves undertaking some medical practices and services to the patient before caring out on operation; prior to, and following the operation which is the main requirements of the operation which facilitates the surgery process. <\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>The service includes:<\/strong><\/span><\/p><ul><li>Nursing works like (putting Cannula, urinary catheter, spinal needle insertion, intravenous injection and infusions &#8230;&#8230;&#8230;..etc.).<\/li><li>Start up and observe medical and anesthetic instruments.<\/li><li>Observation of patients during operation likes (respiration, heart rate, blood pressure, &#8230;&#8230;&#8230;.etc.).<\/li><li>Observe the patients till they will be consciousness.<\/li><li>Monitoring and manage the patients in Intensive Care Unit.<\/li><\/ul><p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>Vision:<\/strong><\/span><\/p><p>A follow-up in the establishment of this section is for the development of the scientific national and international aspect of manner:<\/p><ul><li>A cadre of academic and technical cadres in the field of health.<\/li><li>Provide a better health services for the citizens of the region.<\/li><li>Participation in scientific research for the purpose of developing emergency services for patients in case of necessity.<\/li><\/ul><p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>Mission:<\/strong><\/span><\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Anesthesia department is the first department overall departments which educate students in anesthesia by BSc degree. This department can able to produce academic staff, they will be able to work under strong guidelines to provide and take high quality and safe health care to the all individuals in our community in order to overcome Kurdistan region.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>Outcomes:<\/strong><\/span><\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This is an important department in the technical college of health and aims to prepare qualified health staff to provide the best services to patient before and during surgery.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>Objectives:<\/strong><\/span><\/p><p>At the end of the study students can:<\/p><p>Understand all the scientific and academic aspects specialized in this field.<\/p><ul><li>They have sufficient information in the fields of medical science, and technique of anesthesia and related nursing procedures.<\/li><li>Collect of theoretical topics to practical care to serve patients.<\/li><li>Show them as academically in terms of health to deal with patients and the possibility working with team.<\/li><li>Working under the patient pressure.<\/li><li>Carry out scientific research competent in this field.<\/li><li>Participate in workshop and seminars on treatment and find out appropriate ways to solve health problems in this filed by academically and scientifically.<\/li><\/ul><p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>The specialties of this department: <\/strong><\/span><\/p><ul><li>The study in this section is four years, including theoretical and practical lectures.<\/li><li>The student gets a bachelor\u2019s degree and appointed as an anesthesia technician.<\/li><li>Graduates of technical institute and students of final grades of high school can enter this college to obtain a bachelor\u2019s degree.<\/li><li>Graduates of this department can work in all governmental and private health sectors.<\/li><li>Graduates of this department can complete postgraduate studies (masters and doctorates) within and outside country in various health specialties.<\/li><li>The student who is the first on the department in the first stage can join the college of pharmacy.<\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>General information:\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p><ul><li>It is one of
