The Computer Network Department was established as one of the departments of the Technical College of Informatics in 2013. Since 2018, the Computer Network Department follow the Bologna credit system. Students are required to complete 240 credits during (4) academic years to get awarded with Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Computer Networks. The duration of the study is four years.<\/p>

Students enrolled in Computer Networking will acquire valuable theoretical and practical knowledge of computer networks (switching, routing), system and network administration, computer and network security, operating systems, web programming, databases, and project management.<\/p>

Vision:<\/span><\/h4>

The department aims to prepare graduates with advanced specialized knowledge and skills in networking that will allow them to design and implement effective, economical, and creative solutions for the needs of the marketplace<\/p>

Student Learning Outcomes<\/span><\/span><\/h4>

Within four years, students are expected to possess the following skills:<\/p>

  1. The ability to analyse a complex computing problem and to apply principles of computing to identify solutions.<\/li>
  2. Design, implement, and administer enterprise networks and Cloud datacentres<\/li>
  3. Analyse, secure and implement security mechanisms in Enterprise Networks<\/li>
  4. Administer networks, network services, and security<\/li>
  5. The ability to work effectively in teams, with good written and verbal communications skills<\/li>
  6. Earn Cisco and Huawei certification in partnership with SPU CISCO Academy and SPU<\/li><\/ol>

    Huawei Academy in the field of Networking, Security, Cloud, Artificial Intelligence, and other certifications.<\/p>
