Within the University&#8217;s organizational structure, it operates under the supervision of the Vice President for Scientific Affairs and Higher Education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Directorate provides a variety of IT and statistical services, works to improve the University&#8217;s ranking, and supports the University&#8217;s digital transformation. It is also responsible for the technical supervision of the University websites, Staff&#8217;s Academic Profile, TQA Quality Assurance System, and the Student Feedback System. In addition, it provides online access to the University&#8217;s master&#8217;s and doctoral theses through the dedicated <a href=\"https:\/\/repository.spu.edu.iq\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"repository.spu.edu.iq\">SPU Digital Repository<\/a> platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The Information Technology and Statistics Directorate is responsible for several key functions within the University, including:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Managing the University&#8217;s IT infrastructure and ensuring the proper operation of computer systems, networks, software applications, and other technological resources. It also provides technical support and assistance to the University staff.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Conducting statistical analysis by collecting, processing, and analyzing data related to various aspects of the University.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Supervising and coordinating IT and statistical projects implemented by different University departments. It also plays an important role in project planning, resource allocation, monitoring, and implementation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Giving significant attention to the University&#8217;s performance in national and international ranking systems and working to implement strategies that improve the University&#8217;s rankings.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Information Technology and Statistics Directorate aims to enhance the University&#8217;s overall performance by achieving a highly organized and systematic institutional environment. It seeks to ensure the efficient delivery of services for academic staff, employees, and students through electronic services that are accessible from any location.
