Cisco Academy was established in August 2012 at Computer Science Institute of Sulaimani Polytechnic University.It is an esteemed training center dedicated to equipping students with the necessary skills and certifications to excel in the field of networking, particularly through Cisco technologies. With a strong emphasis on practical skills and industry relevance, our academy offers comprehensive and industry-leading courses to prepare students for successful careers in networking. Our mission at Computer Science Institution is to empower students with the necessary skills and knowledge to become proficient networking professionals. We bridge the gap between academia and industry by delivering high-quality education that aligns with the evolving needs of the technology sector. Through our collaboration with CISCO, the center delivers a range of courses, training, and certifications. The center has a team of expert instructors, possessing extensive industry experience and Cisco certificate themselves, who guide students through the intricacies of networking concepts and technologies. They provide students with a solid foundation in networking, programming, security, and IoT principles and facilitate hands-on experience in implementing and managing complex network infrastructures. Through the courses and training, students gain a deep understanding of network design, routing and switching, network security, wireless networking, computer programming, and the Internet of Things. We offer practical exercises and lab sessions that allow students to apply their knowledge in real-world scenarios, enabling them to configure, troubleshoot, and secure network infrastructures effectively. The significance of acquiring networking knowledge and skills before graduation cannot be understood. Meet Cisco Academy Training Center Staff<\/h3>

Dr. Zryan Najat Rashid\u00a0is a distinguished academic and accomplished researcher in the field of Computer Science. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree (BSc) in Computer Science from the Salahaddin University (Erbil), which he completed in 2004. Subsequently, he pursued a Master of Science (MSc) in Computer science at Sulaimani University. Driven by his passion for knowledge and innovation, he furthered his academic journey by successfully completing his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Information Technology in Duhok Polytechnic University in 2020. Currently, Dr. Zryan serves as a Lecturer at the renowned Sulaimani Polytechnic University- Iraq, where he imparts his expertise to aspiring minds. Since 2011, he has also been actively contributing as a CISCO instructor, collaborating with various universities to offer valuable courses in Networking Essentials, CCNA Discovery 1: Networking for Home and Small Business,CCNA R&S: Introduction to Networks, and more. In addition, Dr. Zryan serve as the director of CISCO academy of Sulaimani Polytonic University. His research interests span a wide spectrum within the field of Computer Science, including Distributed Parallel Processing and Cloud Computing.\u00a0<\/p>

Dr. Sarkar Hasan Ahmed is a distinguished academic and accomplished researcher in the field of Computer Science. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree (BSc) in Computer Science from the University of Duhok in 2009. Successively, he achived a Master of Science (MSc) in Software Development at Coventry University-UK, where his exceptional performance earned him the prize for \u201cThe Best Master Students Result\u201d in 2013. Driven by his passion for knowledge and innovation, he furthered his academic journey by completing his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Improving IoT Security from Sulaimani Polytechnic University in 2021. Currently, Dr. Sarkar serves as an Assistant Professor at the Sulaimani Polytechnic University, where he imparts his expertise to aspiring minds. Since 2011, he has been actively contributing as a CISCO instructor, collaborating with various universities to offer valuable courses in Networking Essentials, CCNA Discovery 1: Networking for Home and Small Business, CCNA R&S: Introduction to Networks, and more. In addition to his academic accomplishments, Dr. Sarkar is a lifelong learner and received a certification in Entrepreneurship Academy from the University of Central Missouri-USA in 2017. His research interests span a wide spectrum within the field of Computer Science, including the Internet of Things (IoT), Software Engineering, Cyber Security, and Mobile and Web-Based Systems.<\/p>
