Interesting “Being an International Student at Masaryk University: Admission, mobility programs, and visa issues” international public workshop organized by the Digital Cultural Heritage (DCH) Research Group of the Research Center سەنتەری توێژینەوە of Sulaimani Polytechnic University (SPU).
At the beginning of the workshop, Miss Klara Němečková introduced the participants to the Masaryk University (MU) via a short orientation video and then she introduced admission process in general and to some programs at Masaryk University, including double/joint degree programs and their different administration. In another part of the workshop, she talked about the MU’s international mobility programs for their students and staff. In the last section of the workshop, Miss Němečková explained visa processes and prior degree recognition requirements in details.
This public workshop brought together a total of 31 local and international participants—including academics, heads of units, and employees and students—to discuss a range of issues covered in the workshop.
The workshop was held at the Ground floor of International English Language Center building, Sulaimani Polytechnic University Presidency and run from 10:00 to 1:00 pm.
Miss Klára Němečková currently works at the Faculty of Social Studies in the International office where is mainly responsible for the admission process to full time degree English taught programs. She previously worked at Rector´s Office (University President’s office) as Rector´s (administrative) assistant for more than two years.
Yesterday, July 10, 2019 was Klára Němečková’s 10th day at SPU. During her two weeks (July 1st to 13th, 2019) visit to SPU (funded by the Erasmus+ ICM program), she has been undertaking various academic and cultural activities and exchange with DCH, RC, and some other SPU staff. Klara has been hosted by Dr. Rozhen Kamal Shah Mohammed, the founding head of the Digital Cultural Heritage کەلەپووری کولتووری دیجیتاڵی(DCH) Research Group and SPU coordinator for the Erasmus+ ICM program with Masarykova univerzita (MU) in Czech Republic.
