A Workshop on the future of the system of Government and Constitutional Guarantees in the Kurdistan Region

As part of encouraging citizens to discuss governance, a group of students, in collaboration with the American Organization (NED) and the Dukan Technical Institute, organized a workshop entitled “Future of the Government System and Constitutional Guarantees in the Kurdistan Region” on Tuesday 10 April 2018.Hemin  Ibrahim Kader and Zhelwan Abdullah Halaldni lecturers at the Institute attended the workshop.

The lecturers spoke about the type and importance of political systems such as the parliamentary system and the presidential system and how to create a political system of governance suitable for the Kurdistan region.

They then highlighted the constitutional guarantees of basic rights, social justice and the unification of national forces, and also the status of constitutional guarantees in the Kurdistan region and the distribution of legal and executive powers between the three presidencies.

And at the end of the workshop the attendees presented their views, asked many questions and discussed them.
